Thursday, March 31

12:27 a.m. Officers and the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at South Hall. Smoke from burnt food activated the alarm, which was silenced and reset.

Friday, April 1

10:21 a.m. A staff member reported vandalism in the lobby of South Hall. Officers responded and observed three pieces of furniture overturned along with pop cans and beer bottles strewn about the room.

Saturday, April 2

7:15 p.m. A student reported the theft of her wallet from a practice room in Robertson Hall. The wallet, purple in color, which contained credit cards, $56 in cash and miscellaneous items, was left unattended for approximately five minutes. A check of the area was made, but the wallet was not located.

Monday, April 4

9:50 a.m. Custodial staff reported that an unknown person had torn a large section of wallpaper from the wall on the third floor of East Hall. A work order was filed.

10:55 a.m. Officers and the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on the second floor of the Service Building. Drywall was being cut, and dust activated the alarm.

Tuesday, April 5

3:57 p.m. A resident of South Hall reported the theft of two pairs of earrings from her room. Total value of the earrings is approximately $400. The theft is under investigation.
