First-year midfielder and defender Maddi Kimball earned Second Team All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors this week, following the conclusion of the women’s soccer team’s season. Kimball proved to be a highly effective and versatile addition to the team in her first collegiate season. She played every position in the Yeowomen’s defensive and central lines and excelled in each one. She scored her first career goal, contributing to Oberlin’s 4–0 win against Defiance College, and ended her season with two assists against Rochester College and DePauw University. Kimball’s teammates sophomore forward Gwennie Gardiner and first-year goalkeeper Jordyn Morris earned NCAC honorable mentions as well.
