Experience for Youth Key to Yeowomen’s Success

The women’s basketball team has been busy in the past week with games against Carnegie Mellon, Earlham and Case Western Reserve. The team posted a record of 1-2 in those three games. Despite this record, the Yeowomen were able to stay competitive throughout their matches. Through the first seven games of the season, the team has set a 1-6 record with its only win coming at home last Saturday, Dec. 5 against conference foe Earlham. In the contest, first-year guard Allison Anderson had an inspiring triple-double with 20 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds; she also made a personal season-high five steals.
