The Oberlin Review

Louis Krauss
Louis Krauss is from Baltimore, MD, where he grew up working for his Mom's website the Baltimore Brew, reporting on local politics and cultural events, along with garnering a few evil looks from Mayor Stephanie Rawlings Blake. In the summer of 2014, he worked at the Baltimore Sun Sports section writing and editing sports stories about outdoor sports, professional video gaming and fishing. After that, he has spent two summers in Tokyo where he wrote for the LA Times, Daily Beast and Japan Subculture Research Center, on issues such as Prime Minister Abe's revising Japan's constitution, Okinawa's crimes by Americans and cultural stories on jazz bars and anime.
