Battling Bishops Knock Men’s Basketball Out of Playoffs

The men’s basketball team saw its season end in defeat when it fell 83–66 to the No. 1 team in the conference, the Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops, last Tuesday. The Yeomen had previously struggled against the Battling Bishops, falling 86–61 and 106–76 earlier in the season. Tuesday’s contest had the Yeomen struggling again, and though they played it close for much of the game, trailing the Bishops by three points late in the first half, the Bishops’ offensive surges kept the Yeomen at bay. ...

The men’s basketball team split its last two games with a convincing 83–58 win over the visiting Hiram College Terriers last Saturday and a tough 106–76 loss against the Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops on Wednesday. Men’s Basketball Slams Wolverines at Home

The men’s basketball team rebounded from a rough outing Saturday against Wabash College, beating the Grove City College Wolverines 77– 50 on Monday night at home. In need of a win to get back on track after falling by double digits in consecutive North Coast Athletic Conference games, the Yeomen dominated the Wolverines from the start, jumping out to a 40–17 first-half lead.
