This weekend, Obie alum will make their way back to campus for Homecoming weekend, a tradition centered around the Oberlin community com- ing together to celebrate varsity sports. With the arrival of alumni from various class years, Oberlin students have the opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new connections. Additionally, the Board of Trustees gathered this week for one of their four annual meetings. Currently, the board comprises 30 members with different professions and skills. Swimmers Set Records, Personal Bests at Conference

The swimming and diving teams travelled to Denison University last week to compete at the four-day-long North Coast Athletic Conference championships. At the end of the grueling competition, the Yeowomen finished seventh out of nine teams with 584 points and the Yeomen placed eighth out of ten teams with 430 points. Oberlin’s swimming and diving teams brought home brag-worthy achievements after their three-day Fredonia Invitational meet, with 83 season-best swims, 21 career-best times, and seven swims making it onto the Oberlin All-Time Swims list.
