First-year Hannah Rasmussen winds up for a pitch. This week marked a bright spot in Rasmussen’s already impressive career as a rookie on the softball team. Junior outfielder Justin Cruz had an impressive afternoon Wednesday, helping the Yeomen sweep the visiting Hiram College Terriers in 18 combined innings of action. Junior guard Jack Poyle netted 25 points in the Yeomen’s home opener Monday against the Muskingum University Fighting Muskies, shooting an efficient 9–14 on the night and netting nine rebounds.
