Students call Oberlin representatives Democrat Dan Ramos of the Ohio House and Republican State Senator Gayle Manning to protest the passing of HB 258, more commonly known as a “heartbeat bill.” The bill outlaws abortions after six weeks of an individual’s pregnancy, including for victims of rape and incest. The phone bank event, taking place three hours after the bill passed, was organized by College senior Lotte Brewer (left).
