Baseball had its hands full with a four-game series against the College of Wooster Fighting Scots doubleheader last weekend, dropping three-of-four games to the nationally sixth-ranked team. In a tough loss to the No. 25 DePauw University Tigers, the Yeowomen fell 6–3 Sunday to the rival who bested them last year in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament third-place match, the last match of the 2015-16 season. Tuesday marked a pivotal point in Yeowomen basketball history as the squad, seeded fifth in the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament, defeated the fourth-seeded Hiram College Terriers 60–43 to become the first women’s basketball team to win a playoff game since 1999.
