3:58 a.m. Officers were requested to assist an individual who had fallen in the parking lot of Stevenson Dining Hall. The individual was being assisted by dining staff. The individual said they didn’t feel they needed medical attention at the time.
12:51 p.m. Campus Safety officers and Oberlin Fire Department members responded to a fire alarm activation at a Goldsmith Village Housing Unit. The alarm was caused by smoke from hot cooking oil. The area was cleared and the alarm was resetThey cleared the area and reset the alarm.

1:41 a.m. Officers and Oberlin Fire Department members responded to a fire alarm triggered by candles at a Goldsmith Village Housing Unit. The alarm was silenced and reset.
Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021
8:46 a.m. Officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Wilder Hall. The alarm had been activated from the kitchen crew attempting to move a commercial-size cooler. The top of the cooler hit a heat detector, activating it. An electrician responded to replace the detector and reset the alarm.
11:45 a.m. AVI Fresh staff reported vandalism to one of their signs at Clarity Dining Hall in Harkness House. Non-offensive graffiti was painted on the sign with black paint. There had been no graffiti when officers checked the area at 7:55 a.m.
