Abe is a fifth-year Trombone Performance and Computer Science major from Stockholm, Sweden. As a Photo Editor for the Review, Abe saw every corner of campus and town, biking to the water treatment plant and greenhouses at the edge of town, and attending everything from Classics lectures and TIMARA concerts to athletics practices and community town halls. He deems the Allen Memorial Art Museum the hardest place on campus to shoot. When he wasn’t practicing, leading Outings Club trips, or tackling photographic challenges, you could find him cycling or arranging Swedish folk music. Next year, Abe is trading Oberlin’s well-loved and heavily photographed streets for Oslo, Norway, to pursue a master’s in trombone.
The following are selected photos taken by Frato during his time at the Review.
