Calvin Ray Shawler (they/them) fell in love with the performing arts from an early age and has pursued it since through music and theatre, both on stage and as a creator, acquiring accolades for their compositions, piano performance, poetry, short stories, and short films. They have written and directed many full length theatre pieces including [INSERT future HERE] (2022), Stitch by Stitch (2022), Wait for Me, Goodbye, Look Up, I Love You (2023), Mirror Mirror (2023), The Transit Trilogy (2024), and Eurydice Tells Orpheus Goodbye (2024). They have also written and directed short films “A Beautiful Night” (2023), “Things I Should Probably Throw Out” (2023), “Steel World” (2024), and “one step at a time orpheus and eurydice draw closer to the morning sun” (2025). They are currently studying Composition and Theater.
