Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 3:21 p.m. Campus Dining staff reported a brown two-shelf push cart missing from the Science Center food court area. No value was given at the time of report. 5:18 p.m. Facilities staff reported graffiti in two different locations on campus. The graffiti, written in marker, was found in the Firelands Apartments men’s restroom and on an electrical box in Robertson Hall parking lot. A work order was filed for removal. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 12:05 p.m. A student reported the theft of their bicycle from outside a Goldsmith Village Housing Unit. Thursday, April 21 12 p.m. Facilities staff reported graffiti in the men’s restroom of the Service Building. The drawing was a figure done in marker. A work order was filed for cleanup. 6:44 p.m. A student reported a strong odor of marijuana on the first floor of Barrows Hall. Officers responded and traced the odor to a room. Though nothing was found burning, officers confiscated and disposed of alcohol that was in plain view. 10:11 p.m. Officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Firelands Apartments. Thursday, March 31 12 p.m. A student reported the theft of their locked bicycle from the north side of Asia House. The bicycle is a black, 18-speed K2 Enemy. Friday, April 1
 9:58 p.m. Officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on the second floor of Harkness House. Smoke from burning incense activated the alarm, which was then reset. 9:33 a.m. Facilities staff reported damage to the roof of Severance Hall.  12:31 a.m. Safety and Security officers were requested to assist an intoxicated student outside of Wilder Hall. After officers spoke to the student, and the student was escorted to Barrows Hall for the night. 1:43 p.m. An officer on patrol observed an ambulance at Dascomb Hall. Officers met with paramedics who were called to assist an ill staff member. The individual was transported to Mercy Allen Hospital by ambulance. 4:40 p.m. Staff reported a vehicle accident in the west Service Building parking lot. Sunday, Feb. 7 12:56 a.m. Staff reported an unauthorized party taking place at a village house on South Professor Street. Loud music was heard from outside. The party was closed down and approximately 150 party attendees were dispersed. 11:02 a.m. Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at a Union Street apartment. Smoke from cooking was the cause of the alarm. Alarm was reset with no problems. 9:04 p.m. A student reported an activated smoke detector at a village house on Woodland Street. Thursday, Dec. 4 11:55 a.m. Officers assisted a student who fainted in Dascomb Dining Hall. The student told officers that they were OK and declined medical treatment at the time. 6:42 p.m. Officers responded to a blue light emergency phone activation in the southeast corner of Tappan Square. Three non-students were observed running from the area, located and identified. One admitted to making the call and apologized. Thursday, Oct. 30 12:50 p.m. A student reported the theft of a bookbag from Dascomb Hall. The bookbag is red and blue and contained a silver MacBook Air valued at $850, a small Canon camera, an iPhone charger, Apple ear buds, a book and folders. Friday, Oct. 31 3:06 p.m. Officers responded to an odor consistent with burnt marijuana on the first floor of East Hall. The occupant of the room admitted to smoking marijuana, and the officers reminded the student of College policy on smoking.
