10:25 a.m. Officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a report of gas odor at the Alumni Office. Responders checked the area and did not detect a gas leak.
3:07 p.m. Officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a report of gas odor at Firelands Apartments. Responders checked the area and did not detect a gas leak.
Friday, April 15
7:28 p.m. Officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to an alarm at the Apollo Theatre. Responders checked the building and secured the area.
Saturday, April 16
6:12 p.m. A staff member reported that several students were drinking beer near the North Quad side of East Hall. As the officer approached, several students ran from the area. Those who remained told the officer they were of age. The officer explained that they were not permitted to consume alcohol there. When the officer asked for identification, the students left the area. A follow-up investigation will ensue.
Sunday, April 17
3:12 p.m. A staff member reported that the basement restroom window on the east side of Bosworth Hall was broken from the outside. The window is small and it is unlikely that any entry took place. A work order was filed for clean up and repair.
Monday, April 18
10:49 p.m. A Dascomb Hall kitchen staff member reported a suspicious person in the dining hall. Officers responded and asked the individual, a former employee, to leave. The individual complied.
Tuesday, April 19
2:25 p.m. Facilities staff reported graffiti on a blue light emergency phone south of Warner Center. The graffiti was drawn in what appeared to be blue marker. A work order was filed for clean up.
