Anisa Curry Vietze, Editor-in-Chief

Anisa (she/her) is one third of the Review’s team of fearless leaders. Embarking on her fourth semester as Editor-in-Chief, Anisa is prepared to guide the Review through what will inevitably be another year of chaotic, last-minute news and institutional change. Before working as EIC, Anisa edited the best section, News, when she covered major stories, including the Gibson’s Bakery lawsuit against Oberlin College, the Academic and Administrative Program and Review, and the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Outside of the Review, Anisa can be found teaching the Journalism ExCo to a group of aspiring young journalists, working at the ’Sco, and providing mentorship and community to first years through the PAL program. Some fun facts about Anisa include that, in addition to a major in Politics, she is pursuing a minor in Statistical Modeling (yes, really), and that in her free time she creates miniature scenes and landscapes.
