Thursday, Sept. 25 8:58 a.m. A member of the custodial staff reported that a light blue love seat with two cushions was missing from the west basement TV lounge at Burton Hall. 9:12 a.m. Officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at a Village Housing unit on Elm Street. The alarm was activated by over-cooked oil. 3:51 p.m. Officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on the first floor of South Hall. Thursday, Sept. 18 2:07 a.m. Officers were requested to assist a student who was ill from alcohol consumption on the third floor of Kahn Hall. The student was coherent, answered the officer’s questions and was escorted to their room. Friday, Sept. 19 7:40 a.m. Officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at the Austin E. Knowlton Athletics Complex. Contractors working in the area created dust which activated the alarm near the press box elevator. Thursday, Sept. 11 6:48 a.m. An officer responded to a report of vandalism at the northeast side of Wilder Hall. The temporary wooden railing at the northeast entrance was broken off of the newly poured concrete. Various beer cans and debris were also scattered in the area. A work order was filed. 11:56 a.m. Officers were requested to assist a student who had fallen down the steps in Peters Hall. The student was transported to Mercy Allen Hospital for treatment of an ankle injury. Thursday, Sept. 4 6 p.m. An officer on patrol observed a female skateboarding by the loading dock at the Conservatory. The female was advised of policies regarding skateboarding. The individual refused to provide identification and left the area. 10:59 p.m. Officers were requested to assist an intoxicated student at College and Main Street. An ambulance was requested and the student was transported to Mercy Allen Hospital for treatment.
