Friday, April 20, 2018 3:28 p.m. A student reported the odor of marijuana coming from a room on the first floor of Barnard House. An officer attempted to contact the residents, but no one answered the door. The officer entered the room for a safety check and the odor was stronger but nothing was observed in plain view. 3:32 p.m. Safety and Security officers were requested to assist a student who cut their finger during class in the Science Center. The bicycle was secured to itself at the time of the theft. 5:13 p.m. A student reported a missing scientific calculator from the computer lab in the Science Center sometime between Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. 11:45 p.m. A student reported the theft of their bicycle from the north side of South Hall. Thursday, April 5, 2018 1:30 p.m. A student reported the theft of their bicycle from the west end of Bibbins Hall. The bicycle is a dark blue Trek mountain bike and was secured to itself at the time of theft. Friday, April 6, 2018 2:47 p.m. Staff reported vandalism in the Robertson Hall section of the Conservatory. Unknown person(s) poked holes in the ceiling with what appeared to be a broomstick. A smiley face image was also burned into another area of the ceiling. The damage is under investigation. The information was reported to the telephone office. 9:45 a.m. A student reported the theft of items from their unlocked Union Street Village Housing Unit sometime during the night. A red, white, and blue Fila jacket and a black and orange JBL speaker were taken. Saturday, March 3, 2018 9:46 p.m. Staff reported a strong odor on the third floor of Barrows Hall. Officers responded and located the room in question. A green leafy substance, consistent with marijuana, was observed in plain view on a desktop. There was also a green leafy substance located in plain view on a second desk, along with a vapor pod and rolled cigar containing a substance consistent with marijuana. The incident is under investigation. 6:00 p.m. While patrolling the Adam Joseph Lewis Center, a Safety and Security officer found an expended fire extinguisher near an electrical transformer. No value was given at the time of report. 5:18 p.m. Facilities staff reported graffiti in two different locations on campus. The graffiti, written in marker, was found in the Firelands Apartments men’s restroom and on an electrical box in Robertson Hall parking lot. A work order was filed for removal.
