12:34 p.m. Safety and Security officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm, set off by smoke from burnt food, in the third-floor kitchenette of Baldwin Cot- tage. Officers cleared the area and reset the alarm. 5:22 p.m. Officers assisted a staff member who fell at Stevenson Dining Hall. The employee was transported to Mercy Allen Hospital for treatment. Thursday, Sept. 15 8:43 a.m. Safety and Security officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in the basement of Johnson House caused by water dripping onto the detector. Electricians responded for repair. 1:06 p.m. A Safety and Security officer assisted an injured student on the east side of Bibbins Hall who fell backward over their bicycle and caught their ankle in the chain, creating a deep laceration. The officer transported the individual to Mercy Allen Hospital for treatment. 1:20 p.m. A student reported the theft of their unlocked bicycle from the north side of Noah Hall. Thursday, Sept. 8 1:36 p.m. A resident of South Hall reported that an unknown person entered their unlocked room during the night and took approximately $60 from a pair of shorts that was later found in the hallway. Friday, Sept. 9 2:46 a.m. A resident of South Hall reported two unknown individuals taking money from their room. The individuals were identified, arrested and charged as a result of the theft. 11:14 p.m. Safety and Security officers responded to an unauthorized par- ty complaint at a village house on Wood- land Street and dispersed approximately 80 students. Friday, Sept. 2 9:47 p.m. A Safety and Security officer assisted a student who received a shock while hanging lights in their room at South Hall. The student was transported to Mercy Allen Hospital for treatment. Saturday, Sept. 3 12:43 a.m. Safety and Security officers were requested to assist an intoxicated student at Fairchild House. Officers spoke with the student before escorting them to their room. 1 p.m. A student reported a missing wallet at a party they attended on Woodland Street.  1:29 p.m. Officers were requested to assist a student who fell and injured their knee at Stevenson Dining Hall. Thursday, April 21 12 p.m. Facilities staff reported graffiti in the men’s restroom of the Service Building. The drawing was a figure done in marker. A work order was filed for cleanup. 6:44 p.m. A student reported a strong odor of marijuana on the first floor of Barrows Hall. Officers responded and traced the odor to a room. Though nothing was found burning, officers confiscated and disposed of alcohol that was in plain view. 10:11 p.m. Officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Firelands Apartments. Thursday, April 7 8:57 a.m. Staff reported graffiti on the “LEEDS” parking sign north of the Kohl Building. The graffiti was written with a white paint marker. A work order was filed for clean up. 10:10 a.m. Wilder Hall staff recovered a black bag found in the ’Sco, which contained marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
