 9:45 p.m. A student reported the theft of approximately $50 from a wallet, which was left unsecured in a locker in Philips gym. Nothing else was reported missing. Friday, Feb. 13
 3:31 p.m. Officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a smoke alarm on the third floor of Harkness House. A strong odor of burnt marijuana was detected, and smoke was observed. The officers confiscated several smoked marijuana cigarettes, a green pipe with residue consistent with marijuana and a marijuana grinder containing a substance consistent with marijuana from one room.  11:55 a.m. A staff member reported a minor accident involving a College car at the intersection of North Professor Street and Lorain Street. The car was stopped at the intersection when a second vehicle lost control on the icy road and bumped into the rear of the first car. There were no reported injuries or visible damage. 8:28 p.m. An officer assisted a student in Dascomb Hall who smashed their finger in a door. The student told officers that they were OK and declined medical treatment at the time. 6:42 p.m. Officers responded to a blue light emergency phone activation in the southeast corner of Tappan Square. Three non-students were observed running from the area, located and identified. One admitted to making the call and apologized. Friday, Nov. 14 8:02 a.m. An officer on patrol in the basement of Burton Hall observed a table with a broken leg in the TV lounge. A work order was filed for repair. 12:29 p.m. An officer assisted a student who injured her ankle walking down steps at Asia House. A work order was placed for cleanup and repair. 8:35 a.m. A Wilder Hall staff member reported the theft of a black cardigan from their office. The sweater is valued between $50 and $75. 8:35 a.m. A custodial staff member reported finding empty condom wrappers in a practice room at the Conservatory. Thursday, Oct. 30 12:50 p.m. A student reported the theft of a bookbag from Dascomb Hall. The bookbag is red and blue and contained a silver MacBook Air valued at $850, a small Canon camera, an iPhone charger, Apple ear buds, a book and folders. Friday, Oct. 31 3:06 p.m. Officers responded to an odor consistent with burnt marijuana on the first floor of East Hall. The occupant of the room admitted to smoking marijuana, and the officers reminded the student of College policy on smoking. There were no injuries, and an electrician responded to cap the wires. 9:24 p.m. Officers were requested to assist with a Life Safety inspection in a room on the third floor of Talcott Hall. A glass pipe containing a substance consistent with marijuana and a grinder containing the same substance were both found in plain view. The student was coherent, answered the officer’s questions and was escorted to their room.
